How to Improve Quote Decline Rate

Decreasing the number of declines can have a positive impact on your event placement on site. To do so you will need to make sure our calendar on site accurately represents your availability.

Here are the ways to make sure your calendar on the website accurately displays your availability.

1) Sync an external calendar or Actively Manage your calendar.

If you do not have a single calendar that you can sync that accurately represents your availability you should block off times on your calendar. Here is a how to Block off your Calendar for Unavailable Times

Declining and sending an alternate date will still impact ranking so ensuring accurate availability is displayed before a request is received will ensure fewer declines that will negatively impact your site placement.

2) Make sure your Available Hours are configured correctly.

You can see how to set available hours here

All available hours should reflect the pricing that that listing is available for. Declining or adjusting pricing due to off-hours or any other fees not included in the pricing will be a decline and negatively impact ranking.

Available hours should just be the hours that your listings are available for the listed pricing.

3) Make sure your pricing, minimums, kit contents, duration and all other listing data is accurate.

Go to https://hosts.bookelevent.com/listings to see all of your listings. Ensuring your data is accurate will ensure that when you do receive a request it doesn't need to be declined due to incorrect information.

Adjustments to price on a request will be a decline that will negatively impact site ranking.
