Incorrect Video Conference Links - What to do?

Information for our hosts on how to update their events with video conference information

For virtual events, Elevent asks that our hosts supply a video conference link for the client. If the host is able to run events on a client’s link or on other platforms, please update your preferences in the Host Portal. 

  • Once an event has been confirmed, the host will be notified to enter video conference information in the Host Portal. 
  • Hosts will receive a notification when a client switches to their own link.
  • Event Day - If a host is on a link and the client has not shown up, be sure to double-check the Host Portal to confirm the link is correct.
    • If a client has shown up within 2 minutes of the event start, please reach out to Elevent immediately.
