How Do I Upload My Participants to the Event Portal?

You must use this specific CSV Template and ensure it is filled out to the specifications in line 2 of the template. 

Other common uploading issues:

  1. Header has been adjusted:
    Make sure the entire header row is exactly the same as the provided CSV Template.
  2. The file type being uploaded is not a .csv file:
    Make sure the file is saved as a .csv file. The system will not accept .xls or any other file types.
  3. Country code is not formatted correctly:
    Country code must only be 2 letters (US).
  4. Number of participants is more than what is allotted:
    Please contact events@bookelevent.com in this case to increase the # of participants for your event. 
  5. Missing required fields:
    For shipments, the below fields are required. They will only be used for the purposes of the shipments so, for example, email and phone numbers will only receive shipment tracking-related notifications via email, and phone number is only used for the carrier in case there is an issue. e.g. FedEx needs to call for a gate code. If you do not have a phone number for each participant please provide your number or someone that can troubleshoot any delivery issues with the carrier.

      Please note: If your event is not a shipped event, you only need to fill out the first three columns. (Email, First Name, Last Name)
