# Block off Time on your Calendar with Each Booking

## How to default calendar events to busy and block off time on your calendar automatically.

If you are an individual and can't accept multiple bookings for the same time slot you should configure your Calendar to Default to busy. This will make all calendar events added to your calendar through bookings or in the portal to block off the time so the same time cannot be presented and booked by others.

 

**1) Go to Event Settings in the host profile and Calendar.**

**2) Make sure Default new calendar events to busy is toggled on.**
